Montreal Auto Prix was founded in 1998.

How many warehouses do you have?
We have two sales warehouses:

East warehouse (since 1998)

What is your clientele’s profile?
Our clientele is mainly made up of savvy consumers who know that buying a vehicle is a significant expense rather than a long-lasting investment. They are looking for an alternative to traditional sales that would enable them to reduce the high depreciation that follows the purchase of a new vehicle. Our clientele strives to enjoy a quality vehicle at low cost and is open to all purchasing opportunities (depending on models offered, the year, mileage, the esthetic rating and price).

How do you manage to offer such low prices?
Following our innovative high volume, low profit sales approach enables us to eliminate intermediaries and excessive commissions, reduce fixed costs, eliminate depreciation and the cost of financing and thus, offer the lowest prices in Canada.

What do you mean by "lots and units sold within 24 to 72 hours?
We receive vehicle lots one to four hours after they have been purchased and we are able to sell them within 24 to 72 hours.

Why is it not possible to negociate the prices of vehicles?
We already offer the lowest prices as it is.

Where do vehicles come from?
Montreal Auto Prix vehicles are supplied mainly through credit institutions that have narrow ties with car manufacturers. Our inventory is primarily made up of vehicles bought by individuals, through a leasing contract.

How do you find your vehicles?
Our team of experienced buyers travels relentlessly throughout Eastern Canada searching for vehicles that meet our strictest quality requirements.

What if you do not have the vehicle I am looking for in your lot?
If you are looking for a vehicle in particular and do not find it in our lot, our devoted sales department team will make a special order and search for a vehicle that matches your criteria (brand, model, year, colour, options, mileage, esthetic rating). This service is available by email at info@mtlautoprix.com as well as by telephone, at 514-593-9020. All you have to do is state your preferences, your contact information and the best time to contact you and we will be happy to help you find what you are looking for.

Do you accept vehicles returned by clients?
Montreal Auto Prix accepts vehicles returned by clients.

Our high volume, low profit sales strategy enables us to offer consumers the lowest prices in Canada. Besides our prices, the quality of our customer service, our service department and the numerous financing options are major benefits for clients.

What kind of financing do you offer?
Montreal Auto Prix offers its clientele two types of financing: financing at highly competitive rates and specialized credit.

Financing at highly competitive rates
The major chartered banks and other financial institutions are proud partners of Montreal Auto Prix, which enables us to offer consumers rates that are among the most competitive on the market. Many credit directors are available on site in order to offer a quick and efficient approval service, regardless of your credit history.

Specialized credit
Our specialized credit service is entirely at the disposal of consumers who are looking to buy a vehicle but may have difficulty doing so because of their credit rating. This service enables you to receive financing that is customized to your unique profile. In order for your application to be processed quickly, we recommend that you fill the required form and contact us today.

Do you service cars that belong to external clients?
Montreal Auto Prix puts its two inspection and service centres at the disposal of its clients and the general public. Besides a parts and accessories counter—state-of-the-art equipment—these centres offer the complete know-how of mechanics on the site for tuning, servicing, maintenance of the ventilation system and repairs.

What guarantee do you offer? How can you guarantee that the mileage has not been tampered with and that the vehicles have not been involved in an accident?
Each vehicle sold by Montreal Auto Prix is prepared and inspected in order to make sure that it has not been heavily damaged in an accident. Before the consumer leaves with his or her vehicle, we perform a complete mechanical inspection including a security check on the steering system, brakes, seatbelts and tires. The vehicle is also guaranteed to run normally for a period of 1 to 6 months, depending on the vehicle’s mileage and year, and we also offer to transfer the manufacturer’s guarantee at no extra cost.

What do you think of the new regulation in the used vehicle industry?
From the perspective of Montreal Auto Prix, the application of the new regulation is a step forward and on the straight and narrow path. However, we are convinced that it is imperative to go even further in the applicable regulation in order to adequately protect consumers in the industry.

Why do you say you want to change industry practices?
The Montreal Auto Prix business model rests on a complete analysis of industry practices and standards. Knowing that consumers have no trust whatsoever in the automobile market, the founders have worked relentlessly to develop a business concept geared to the consumer’s interest and that would contribute to creating an environment in which the highest ethical standards are met.

What is your relationship with the industry?
Montreal Auto Prix maintains an excellent collaboration with all industry players, including the APA (Automobile Protection Association). In January 2005, in an interview with La Presse, the President of the APA, George Iny, declared that Montreal Auto Prix offers the lowest prices.

Other industry actors have also mentioned that since Montreal Auto Prix is in the automobile sales market, the province of Quebec is about 5 years ahead of the rest of the indusrty in Canada.
